When I look at my experience and skills, becoming a celebrant was meant to be. My life journey has lead me towards this path and to say I love being a celebrant is an understatement.
I work hard to understand what you want and integrate your wonderful stories of love and life to create a very special ceremony. My years of experience as an image consultant, have given me an eye for detail to ensure your ceremony is personal, authentic, meaningful; one that becomes a life-lasting memory.
I have an ability to connect quickly with others, to make everyone feel special. I always treat my clients as lovingly as members of my own family.
Being the best I can, I have qualifications as a celebrant, training with the NZ Celebrants School, and follow protocol and the legal obligations required as a celebrant. I am also a validated member of the Celebrants Association of NZ (CANZ). VCANZ celebrants have a commitment to professional standards, education and ethics and strive to deliver excellent service.
I encourage you to create your ceremony, one that is all about your life, your love, your values, background and culture. To create a ceremony, exactly how you imagined it to be, so it signifies you and your family, and your love for each other.

Funeral Celebrant
As a funeral celebrant, my aim is to create a meaningful ceremony that celebrates your loved ones’ life but also helps you, your family and friends to grieve and begin the healing process.
I support and encourage you to create a personalised service, filled with your memories, love and thoughts – so the funeral becomes a beautiful ceremony to say farewell to your loved one.
I will meet you, your family and funeral directors as needed, to help you choose the perfect words, readings, music, structure and eulogy.
Celebration of Life Celebrant
This ceremony allows your family and friends to commemorate the amazing life and legacy of your loved one, in a less traditional but more personal way. This is a happier occasion where guests will celebrate, talk, and laugh as they reminisce.
My skills as a life celebrant, can assist you to create a celebration of life ceremony to include any details you like, to reflect your loved ones’ personality, filled with stories, poems, photos and tranquil music.
Wedding Celebrant
A wedding ceremony is a celebration of two people’s love for each other in front of their family and friends.
As a marriage celebrant, I assist you as a couple, to express your love sincerely and personalise your wedding, so it combines your cultural backgrounds and religious traditions.
The ceremony will tell your story of who you are as a couple, a service that is meaningful and poignant, relaxed with a loving ambience.
A wedding celebrants job starts before the wedding day, helping you choose the right words, poems, music, and structure of your ceremony, to ensure your love story is told.
On the day of your wedding, I will guide you through the ceremony, help you to relax and settle your nerves so you can enjoy the moment, and reflect on your relationship and the love you have for each other.
Vow Renewal
Whether you have been through tough times together, or it is a significant anniversary, or you just want to do it all again – any which way, it’s time to celebrate your love for each other and renew your vows.
We can work together to plan your vow renewal, to find the words that describe what draws you together as a couple, the love you have for each other. To create a ceremony that reflects your strong, wonderful connection, and to renew and refresh your relationship for the future.
Baby Naming and Blessing Ceremonies
A baby naming ceremony or a baby blessing celebrates the precious life, togetherness and love that a child brings into the family.
It is a non-religious ceremony, celebrating your child’s life and allows them to select their own beliefs later in life.
Your baby is named and readings, rituals and gifts can become part of the ceremony. As a naming ceremony celebrant, I can help you choose any elements that are dear to you, to create a warm, joyful and memorable occasion.
